Pantry challenge for January 2013

I'm ready to clear out my pantry AGAIN! I am doing the Pantry Challenge for the month of January.

For me that really means I am focusing on clearing out the freezer as usual. I sometimes feel like my freezer is a pit that never ends....

Today is the 8th of January and up to this point I have done really well. We did eat out on the New Year's Day but that doesn't count, it's a holiday, right!

I will keep you up to date. I like having a blog for accountability, it keeps me on track.

Playing games

All day I was trying to figure out how to take a picture of something loud. I even attempted to take a pic of a moving train but, it didn't come out. Then, there it was right in front of me!

At 5 O'clock

I was at my friend Kelli's house with her beautiful daughter Maysen. Kelli and I went to our favorite place for dinner, Mona Lisa. It's a fondue restaurant and it's OMG GOOD!

Smile

I was being sneaky! Jasmine and I were watching tv and she was laughing so, I had to take a picture.

A little "Pick me up"

I decided to take on this challenge....

I choose to take a picture of the flowers that were a "pick-me-up" this morning. I received the flowers from a friend yesterday. It was what I needed!

Yesterday would have been my Mom's birthday and it was the first leap year since she's been gone. I always thought my Mom was pretty special anyway, not only did she have a Leap Year birthday but, she was left handed also. I can't believe she would have been 15 years old. I still remember when we were 7 at the same time with my sister Jennie!

These flowers make me so happy! Thanks Kristi!
