I am still trying to figure out my problem with uploading pictures. Frustrating! I know I'll get it at some point. But, in the meantime I thought I'd write something....
Keith had surgery yesterday. He had a hydrocele that needed to be drained AND opted to add-on a vasectomy. I'll let you google the hydrocele.
It was an outpatient procedure. His recovery time is 6 weeks with one week off of work. I thought that was a long time. Yeah, I thought oh, he'll be in and out but, I'm now realizing this could take a while.
Yesterday, he came home and took a nap which I expected. After his nap he seemed to doing fine. The discharge nurse said to take it easy the first 24 hours. He kept saying he was feeling good. I think the drugs were still talking.
Because he didn't sleep well at all last night!
I set my alarm clock every four hours to give him his pain meds. I do know how important pain management is. He just had a hard time sleeping on his back.
Today has been a little slower to say the least.
My job is to keep the ice packs coming.
I pray that he has a speedy recovery! I'll keep you updated.

Clippings of my life...
I've been feeling like I need to start writing more about my personal life. At times, I feel like my life is crazy and I just need to get it out!
If you follow this blog you'll notice that I changed the name. I went with "Clippings of my life...." I think my new title has a lot of meanings...
- I cut hair for a living

- I could use some trimming of my weight
- And, I want to use this blog to scrapbook about my life!

Jasmine's first day of school
Every year we take her picture and every year I am amazed how tall Jazzy's gotten! She's in 8th grade this year, this is her last year at CSCA. I am trying to enjoy this time we have with her until she all grown up and leaves the house. I am loving her age right now, she has become a beautiful young adult.

My brother and his wife had an Open House in May. They really did a good job on the renovation of their newly acquired house. Of course, I didn't take pictures of the house that would have been too easy instead, being the proud mom and aunt that I am only got pics of the kids.

Our Trip to Albuquerque in April
I'm finally posting about our trip to Albuquerque, NM for the Good Sam Rally!
We spent our 1st night in the Walmart parking lot in Trinidad, CO with the other 6 RVers we were Caravaning with. Here we are on the end.
Here are just a couple RVs that camped with us! I think the total was 3800 RVs! This is Balloon Fiesta Park known for the Balloon Festival, that I'd like to come back for someday.
Here is some our group taking a day trip up to Santa Fe.
This is a self-supporting staircase in a church.
Here we are loading up the bus and almost ready to head on down the road.

On the way home we stopped at Fort Union National Monument to see this neat old fort. We stretched our legs, let the dog out, made our lunch, used the bathroom and we were on the road again.

Easter 2009
We have a wonderful Easter with the family. Jasmine, JJ hunted for eggs. I think Jazzy had fun doing it, I thought she was getting old for some of this stuff but I guess not! I think we're never too old to have fun!
